We completed the field work associated with geoprobe investigation on Octobetr 13. The soil and groundwater samples were rpent via overnight courier to the laboratory for analysis with, standard turn around time (typically 3 to 4 weeks). The results of the laboratory analyses indicate that petroleum contaminants were detected at concentrations greater than the risk based screening levels (RBSLs)_ As required by State law, we have notified the Department of Environmental Quality that a release has o urred at this facility. In addition, I met with John Talmage, owner of Diamond Aire, and another individual on October 15, 2008 to inform hire of our preliminary findings with regard to suspected petroleum contamination at Diamond Aire bawl on our field investigation. John provide me with a copy of his most recent 1 ST'Inspection report that indicates he is in compliance. we wanted to review the status of our findings as well as review the inspection report to determine if he will qualify for the Petroleum Storage Tanks Compensation Fund should the 'laboratory results confirm our suspected f ndings_ l intend to verbally notify Mr. Talmage of our findings tomorrow. We plan to have a project report to you within 7 to 10 days new that we have received the laboratory results.
