A RESOLUTION APPROVING A ONE YEAR EXTENSION TO THE PRELIMINARY
PLAT OF WEST VIEW ESTATES PHASE 3, LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER
OF WEST RESERVE DRIVE AND STILLWATER ROAD.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kalispell granted final plat approval for west View
Estates, Phases 1 and 2, on August 21, 2006, and
WHEREAS, developer Owl Corporation now desires a one-year extension to the preliminary plat
for Phase 3 in order to handle estate matters due to a recent death in the family, and
WHEREAS, Section 2.06 of the Kalispell Subdivision Regulations and Montana Subdivision and
Platting Act allows the City Council to grant a one-year extension to the preliminary
plat in addition to the original three year approval; and
WHEREAS, good cause exists for the request for extension by Owl Corporation and it is in the
best interests of the City that the extension be given.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the application of Owl Corporation for a one --year extension of the
preliminary plat of west View Estates Phase 3, Kalispell, Flathead County,
Montana is hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND SIGNED BY THE MAYOR. OF THE
CITY OF KALISPELL, THIS 1 STIR DAY of AUGUST, 2008.
