OLD BUSINESS:
Kohl's / Springy Prairie Phase 3 — Hwy 93 N; overall site layout and new retail store — Put
off final plat until the 16th or so. Need engineer to speak with Public Works about the bike
path. Fire has an issue with the addressing.
Grease Monkey — 2322 Hwy 93 N; new auto oil/lube facility — on hold because of internal
issues they have and their lack of architectural creativity. This will be removed from the
agenda pending additional information/resolution of their internal issues (i.e. "in order to get
the monkey off our backs").
Silverbrook —115 W. Monture; new community center — adjusting the fit of building due to
the narrowing right-of-way, but it will fit. It will be shifted away from the intersection and
adjust the property line. Public Works wants to approve the final drawing when it comes in.
On hold pending receipt of final plans.
NEW BUSINESS:
228 Main Street — Converting it to a beauty salon. This is passed through Site Review.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS:
Siderius Proiect — Sean will be writing a letter to Mr. Nix regarding how we will approach
our review of the project. First, we will address the growth policy amendment regarding
airport issues, the by-pass, and land use issues. Once the amendment is complete, he can
bring it back through for annexation and zoning.
Valley Ranch — north of Glacier Town Center. They will be submitting their application next
week.
OTHER REPORTS:
Concession Stand for Soccer Field at Kidsnorts — Chad brought a small site plan
completed by Porch Construction. Public Works needs some actual elevations.
