A RESOLUTION OF INTENT CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE
ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA, AS SET
FORTH IN THE 2007-2008 BUDGET ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, in the budget adopted by the City of Kalispell for the 2007-2008 fiscal year,
certain detailed and itemized estimates of expenditures have proven inaccurate in
the estimates for the operations of the City for the 2007-2008 fiscal year.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. On the 19th day of May, 2008 at 7:00 o'clock P.M., in the Council
Chambers, City Hall, 201 1st Avenue East, Kalispell, Montana, the City
Council of the City of Kalispell shall hold a Public Hearing on the
following amendment to the 2007-2008 fiscal budget:
#935 Street Maintenance Budget $ 140,000
Pavement Replacement Program —increase budget to award contract for
street overlays to be paid out of funds collected for pavement replacement.
The contract will provide overlays for the Northridge Drive Overlay Project.
This is the first project to utilize the pavement replacement program funding.
SECTION II. That notice of the passage of this resolution shall be published pursuant to
Section 7-1-4127, MCA.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND SIGNED BY THE MAYOR OF
THE CITY OF KALISPELL, THIS STH DAY OF 2008.
