Regular monthly meeting of the Kalispell City Council was held -December 7,
1964,,at 7:30 P. M.,
Mayor Flynn presided. Councilmen Bjorneby, Ellingson, Homuth, Lenon, Roberts,
Smyser and Turner were present. Jerrow :absent.-.
.Minutes of the November 9th meeting were read. Roberts moved approval as
read., Seconded and carried.
City Officials Monthly Reports:
Monthly report of the Police Chief, Police Judge, City Engineer for November
and City Treasurer and City.Clerk for October were approved and accepted on motion
of Smyser. Seconded and carried.
Homuth, for Finance Committee- Reported all monthly claims examined and
approved for payment. ;,Moved adoption of report. Seconded and carried.
Ordinance No. 709 was presented and read, an ordinance amending the present
Curfew Ordinance, providing for additional holiday exemptions and others, on
approvai,of the Mayor. Lenon moved adoption of the Ordinance. Seconded by Turner.
Roll call vote taken with all Councilmen voting for adoption.
A Resolution No..2542 of Intention to extend City Limits to include lots
14 apd 15 of Baker South Side Addition was presented. Roberts moved adoption,
`seconded by Smyser. Roll call vote taken with all Councilmen voting for.
Homuth moved appointment of Donald Hellman, regular Police Officer, and
Bob Soderstrom, Police !Sergeant each having served the required 6 months period.
Motion seconded and carried.
Ordinance No..710, providing for .02c per gallon tax on airplane fuel sold
at Airport was presented and read. Turner moved adoption,..seconded by Bjorneby.
On roll call vote all Councilmen voted for adoption.
,Moved by Lenon that City Engineer be given power to determine and carry
out a systematic tree trimming program. Seconded .by Smyser and carried.
Smyser moved for adjournment.
