Hear the Public: None
Performance Bond Reminders: None
OLD BUSINESS:
Town Pump — 2910 Hwy 93 S — casino addition — Went over letter mailed to them this
week. They have made significant progress on the points, but still need to address some
issues, including hydrant location, drainage plan approval, and the bike path/ROW
improvements, which require MDOT, county, and city council approvals.
Hilton Garden Inn — Hwy 93 S; new hotel — They would like to move forward on
foundation work. Tom had sent a memo to the City Manager detailing 5 points they need to
address. Site Review is comfortable with doing the foundation along those guidelines.
NEW BUSINESS:
USFS — new facility in Spring Prairie along Stillwater. They have revised their site plan, and
we should get updates shortly. Discussed boulevard trees and right-of-way issues. There
does not appear to be any major problems.
59 3"d Ave WN — new electrical contractor storage building. Boulevard trees may be needed.
Need landscape plan and lighting plan. More information on drainage, such as perc test and
drywell calculations. Fire needs the hydrants shown on the site plan. Alley needs to be paved
if it hasn't been already. Curb/gutter/sidewalk along street.
19 Appleway — conversion of single-family residence to real estate office; plans have not been
submitted. They began the work under the impression that they did not need to get a permit.
We should be receiving plans shortly.
Buffalo Hills Golf Course — roof over existing sand storage area — need to gutter backside of
building to keep stormwater out of sanitary sewer. Approved by Site Review.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS:
Stickland subdivision — final plat should note soil drainage, compaction, etc on individual
lots given the fill to be used on the project. Public Works would require perc test for
drywell/infiltration systems. Parks will need to look at cash -in -lieu. Fire stated that 2 ways
in/out preferred. Discussion about a 60 ft ROW in NW coner of subdivision. Stillwater Road
— no improvements at this time; SID waiver. Fire — no parking/fire land signs along street.
Need cross-section of Stillwater Road with proposed improvements.
Waatti townhouses - need to establish how stormwater will be handled. Sidewalk and street
trees. Need to show hydrant location.
OTHER REPORTS:
Sportsman & Ski Haus — revised loading area is acceptable
Eisinger — they have submitted plans for architectural review, with site review and building
plans to be submitted later. No red flags, but note bike path extension.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:45.
