PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS:
Blue Skies Subdivision — off of Valley View — the highway bypass will include a sliver of
their property. They will need to adjust their road to be outside of that area. They do not
want the road to go north. It would provide more connectivity to the next lot. Jeff suggested
possibly putting in an alley. The adjoining property is mostly in the flood plain. They would
need to provide a T turn -around for the Fire Dept. with a right-of-way to the south. Sean will
have them give a narrative as to how they arrived at their calculations for the floodplain.
Future Abbey House — Denver Avenue — There is property on both sides. They have a
sidewalk plan and a T turn -around for the Fire Dept. They will need ADA sidewalks to
provide access at the end of the T. They could possibly put in a parking lot with the turn-
around as an easement, which may work better for setback calculations.
OTHER REPORTS:
Town Pump — The City Council was receptive to the change and will approve it at the
January 2nd meeting. The building permit could be issued that following Wednesday.
Empire Estates — Jennifer mentioned that they do not have a landscaping plan.
Brent's Goodbye Party — Kathy reminded everyone that Brent's Goodbye Party is
tomorrow (Friday) at 10:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:20 a.m.
