A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE FINAL PLAT OF LOTS 8A THROUGH 17B OF
GLACIER VILLAGE GREENS, PHASE XX, OF A SUBDIVISION LOCATED IN THE
EAST HALF OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 32 TOWNSHIP 29
NORTH, RANGE 21 WEST, P.M.M., FLATHEAD COUNTY, MONTANA
WHEREAS, on August 15, 2005 the City Council granted approval of the final plat of Glacier
Village Greens, Phase XX which created 5 single family lots and 30 townhouse
lots on approximately 5.5 acres; and
WHEREAS, the owner of Glacier Village Greens, Phase XX has since determined that the
market is currently demanding single family residences in this location rather than
townhomes and is now requesting that the final plat be amended to create 10
single family residences in place of 10 two -unit townhouses, deleting the internal
townhouse lot -lines; and
WHEREAS, MCA 76-3-207(s) (a) requires the City Council to review and act upon any request
to amend more than 6 lots within a final platted subdivision; and
WHEREAS, good cause has been shown and it is in the best interest of the City to approve the
request of the landowner to amend the above described platted subdivision as
requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The final plat of Glacier Village Greens, Phase XX shall be and is hereby
amended as shown on the amended plat of Lots 8A through 17B, Glacier
Village Greens, Phase XX attached hereto and incorporated fully herein
by this reference.
