MAINTENANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAINTAINING THE STREETS AND
AVENUES OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2006-2007.
VVHE REAS, the assessment t cost of the Special Maintenance istric for the fiscal year 2006-
200 7 is estimated to be $1 � 13 8 .000.00, and
WHEREAS, at a public hearing held on the 17th day of July, , the City Cornell did consider
all objections made to said estimate and to the basis of the levy and assessment t for
payment for said cost.
NOW WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KA , S EL , M N ANA:
SECTION I. That the cost of expenses of maintaining the streets, avenues, alleys
and public roads and the costs of traffic sign and signal maintenance shall be assessed
against each lot or parcel with the Special Maintenance District No. 1 as set out i
Ordinance 1475. The rates for 2006-2007 are as follows;
Category 1. W 0 10 t s. ft. Vacant land up to 2 acres
Vacant lard over 2 acres $7.1 maximum
Category 2. $ . 1 s 1. . Residential land up to 1/2 acre
Residential lard over 1/ acre $219.97 maximum
Category 3. $ . 14 s .ft. Commercial 90% covered
Category 4. $ . 1 7 s . t. Commercial 1 % covered
Public and private parklands, as defined by Kalispell City Code 2 -3-1 , and cemeteries shall be
exempt from the assessment.
