HEAR THE PUBLIC: None.
PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS:
USFS — Their SIA has been reviewed by Harball and Russell and they made a few small edits. USFS'
legal is reviewing it now and it should be finalized in the next week.
OLD BUSINESS:
First American Title — 219 E. Center; new office building. The plans need more of a standard
profile in front. Setbacks and sidewalks were discussed. Fincher has the revised design from them.
Public Works has never received anything on this yet. This will be on the agenda next week.
KRMC — 320 Sunnyview Lane; G.I. Building (new digestive health building). This will be going off
the north of the existing building, right near the Women's/Children's Clinic. Public Works has not
received the plans for this yet. Building and Zoning have not reviewed this yet. This will be on the
agenda for next week.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS:
Lofts at Ashley - Airport Road & Teal - 82-Unit, 3-Story Complex — The meeting with the
neighborhood took place Tuesday night. The neighborhood has a list of five or so items they are
requesting from the developer, including a request for the RA-1 zoning that allows for 55 units. We
have not discussed garbage or mailbox locations with them yet.
KRMC — The PUD will now be reviewed in December at a Work Session to discuss revising the
regulations for the PUD.
OTHER REPORTS:
Old Glacier Towne Center property — 480 acres now owned by Roger Claridge. They want to
begin construction next spring and want to submit their Phase 1 Preliminary Plat by December. This
is along Highway 93 North. They have requested permission for a temporary stop light that MDOT
is likely going to deny. They want to open Phase 1 first for commercial use. They will be putting
through Rose Crossing. Haskins will calculate what the late-comer's fees will be for this project.
Public Works is requesting more of a major arterial grid pattern. They will eventually put in two
traffic lights on Highway 93. Discussion was held regarding sewer and water needs. Discussion was
also held regarding a 300-unit multi -family area. The Westside Interceptor is tentatively planned to
begin in 2018. There will be another meeting on this project tomorrow.
Silverbrook — Jentz met with them yesterday. They want to open up Phase II soon. Their originally
proposed commercial area was discussed. They are looking at possibly locating Mann Mortgage
there. They are still trying to decide what to do with that area.
City Code & Code Enforcement — Sorensen stated that City Attorney Charlie Harball would like to
meet with everyone regarding code enforcement after Site Review next week.
School — Haskins met with Morrison-Maierle yesterday regarding the needs for the school property
project on Airport Road, including a lot of infrastructure. They may be a little short on their grant
application regarding what we need for utilities and roads. They want to begin next June.
