At this time Alderman nickey moved that the Council proceed
to the nomination and election of a Mayor to fill vacancy in
that office, for the unexpired term., Motion seconded by
Alderman Buckingham. Motion carried unanimously.
Alderman Buckingham thereupon placed in nomination the
name of R. Jones, which nomination was seconded by Alderman
Schumann.
Alderman Dickey thereupon moved that the nominations be
closed, which motion was seconjed bY Alderman Bimnz.
Said motion was pit by the City Clerk and caryied
unanimously.
Tho Vote on the Nomination for ,,rayor was as follows:
Buckingham, Bienz, Dickey, Schumann, aye. No Noes. The Clerk
presiding,the vote was announced amd B. Jones Declared plected

Thereupon thR Mayor 4lect, B. Jones, filed his oath
of office and was seated as tTayor.
It was thereupon moved bY Alderann Ruckingham that
we proceed to the nomination and election of an Alderman for
the unexpired term of B. Jones, which motion was seconded by
Alderman Dickey.
