Resolution 214 - Naming Depositories of City FundsA RESOLUTION NA9ITG DEPOSITOR= POR THFUP, CITY FU1�4-1)s 07 TITITE CITY OF KALISPRIV BE IT RESOLVED 3Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C17Y OF KAWSPEIL: MONTANA: That the City Treasurer of the City of Kalispell stall deposit all moneys beloying to the city of Kalispell in the following named banks, located in the said c07 of yalispell, and none others,to-wit; The Conrad National Bank of Kalispell; the First National Bank of Kalispell, and the Kalispell National Bank. And said above nanted banks are hereby named and designated as the Depositarjes oT the City 7unds of the City of xalispell, Yontana. This Ssolution to be in fUll force and effect immediatly upon its passage And a proval. On motion of Alderman Buckingham and sec6nded bY Alderman Wenz, the foreeoing resoltuion was adopted by the following vote; Alderman Buckingham, hienz, Dickey, 5chumann , aye no noes. 001 TEAT WHEREAS it aypears that it is for the best interests of the eople of the City of Kalispell, and for the peace and safety of the Pty of alispe"ll, that the number of saloons, bars and other places where spirituous, vinuous and malt liquors are sold by retail be limited , and it further appearing that it is argent and necessary that a resolutien be immeiatly passed by the City Council;and it further appearing that such resolution should take affect immediatly upon its passage, for the reason that if it does not so take effect, it would become ineffectual and inoperative by reason of a large numbe-- of persons apply for a saloon license, before such resoltiin would be in effect; BE TT RESOLVED BV THE CITY COUNCTL OF TIE CITv OF KAWSPELL that from and after this date, that tht number,of'bars, saloons and otifer Placea where spirtuous, vinuous and malt liquors are sold at retallmd be limited to twenty zhree in number, ano the Ciiv Clarx is direcoed non ou isave licueses in excess of that,nmaber. Ga Motion of .1derman Buckingham and seconded by alderman Bienz$ said resoltuion was passed by the following vote: Alderman Buckingham , Binez, Rognlien, and Scbgmann, Aye. No Noes. Said resoltuion was declared passed and,signed by the acting 7,-ayor. At this Time I. D. Rognlien offered a bond in the sum of ten thousanwi. dollars, for the faithful performance of his duties as City Treasuer.
