A RFSOLUTION TO ESTAB11SH SPACAT! IMPROVEMOT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED B7 THE 07� COUMCIL OP T,-qE CITY OF
KALISPELL:
That it is the intention of Said 007 counoil to,
create a new specail improvement disto ct to he known as
ypecail Improvement ristrict No. 42 for the purpose of
constructing cement walks on each side of the Avenue therein,
the boundaries W which said specall improvement district are
to W include Lots numbered seventeen and eishteen in Block
numbered forty four of the orginal Townsie of Malispell,
11ontana. I
Said &ecail Improvement Witrict herein above
dejeribed t9 be improved as follows: By construcing ceme-n-It,
sidewalks on Lst Ave. East and First Street,abutting on the
above described lots according to the specifications for
cement walks as set forth in Section 2 of article II of
Chapter XII of the Revised nrdinances of 1899 as amended by
Ordinance 7o. 197 passed and approved July 2qth 1908.
The approximate cost of said impoovements is the aim of
"130M00 and the saifel,� shall be paid by specail assessments u pa�
all of the assessable property uithin said Sy cail Improvement
District, exclusive of streets, alleys and public places, and
each piece or parcel of land within said district shall pa�r
that proprotion of coat of said Mprovements as the area
t0reof bears to the area of the entire district exclnsive of
streets alleys, and public places.
Be it further resolved that notice be published in the
Kalispell Journal for at least one i5sue for tPe M time
required by law therefor, said alispell journal being a news
paper of general eiresiation in said City of 7alispell, Eontana
giviaE notice of the intention on the part of said City Council
to make said improvements notifying all owners and agents of
property within said Special Improvement pistrict No 42 to be
affected or benefited thereby that said City Councii of thle
city of �alispell will meet on the 5th da7 of November 1908
at 8 O'Clock P. L. in tie Connodl Chambers at the r.,ity Tiall,
Kalispell, Montana, to consider anry objections to t-ae final
establis�-v�-i�,nt of said -q-pedial Iyirm
Lrovement District which said
objections most be written and filed with the Ci�y lark on or
before said date.
It is further ordered by tke ity Council that all
assessments levied aeainst said property within said qrscial
Inprovasent District No, 42 shall be paid in eight equal in-
sta Iments or payments, 4,.he first pf widch shall be paid in the
year 1909, and al I deferred payments to bear interest at the
rate of six per cent per unnuri, payable annually.
