That it is the intention of said City Council to create a
new Special Improvement District to be known as Special Improvement
District No. 32, for the purpose of constructicn cement walks there -
In, the boundaries of said Special Improvement District are to be
as follows, to -wit;
Comraencir,g at a point where the center line of second street
intersects the center line of Their Avenue West, thence south
t Ir cu. gh the center of Third Avenue, to its intersection with Fourth
street, thence west in the center of Fourth Street to a point where
said Fourth Street intersects the center line of the alle,.,, between
Third and Fourth Avenues West, thence north throi,4gh the center of
said alley to a point where it intersects Second Street, thence
east in the cente?" of Second Street to the place bf beginning, said
district to include the east half' of blocks 52 and 69 of the original
town site of Kalispell, Montana.
Said special Improvement District herein above,describedis to
be improved by constructing cement walks along the west side of
Third Avenue West, within the above described boundaries which
cement walks shall be constructed so as to conform to the follow-
ing spec ifications, to -wit;
Said walks to be constructed of Portland cement, sand and
gravel
mixed with

of gravel
or cinders; c concrete
to
be not
less than three
and one half inches hick, made in the following proportions:
One part acceptable Portland cement-, two parts sand and four parts
broken stone o.- graql*, The top dressing of said walks shall be not
less than three fourths of an.inch thick, consisting of one part
Portland cement, same as used in concrete, to one and one half
parts sand; said walks to be five feet in width and to be a space
of one foot between property line and walk.
The approximate cost of said improvements is the sum of
$684.00 and the same shall be laid by special assessment upon all
of the assessable property within said Special Improvement District,
exclusive of streets, alleys and public places, and each piece or
parcel of land within said district shall pay that proprotion
of the cost of said improvements as the area thereof bears to the
area of the entire district,'exclusive of streets, alleys and
publ is places.,
Be it further resolved that notice be published in the
Nallspell Journal for at least one issiie, for the full time
required by law therefor, said Kalispell Journal being a nevispaper-
of generalcirculation in said City of Kali�pell,, Montana,, giving
notice of the intention on the part of said City Council to make

said improvements, notifying all owners or agents of the property
within said Special Improvement District No. 32 to be affected or
benefited thereby, that said City Council will meet on the pith day
of June 1908, at 8 o'clock P. zs . in the Council Chanbe rs at the
City Hall, Kalispell, Montana, to consider any objections to
the final establishment of said Speeial. Improvement District, which
said ob ecticns dust be in writing and filed with the City Clerk
on or before said date.
It is further Ordered by the City Council that all assessments
levied against said property within said special Nprovements> DisV :
trict No. 32 shall be in eight equal annual installments or pay-
ments, the first of which shall be paid in tho year 1908, and all
deferred payments to bear interest at the rate of six per cent per
annum, M ayab l e annually.
