KALISPELL:
BE IT RRSOLVED BY TEE CETT57 COU-11CIli OF TER CITY OF
That it is the inte:tion of the city council to create a
new Special Improvement District to be kno-viqi as,. Special Iwprovexm_ert
District NO. 30, for tie purpose of improving the alley therein,
by grading and gzaveling the same, the boundaries of which special
Improvement pistrict are as follows, to -wit;
COmmencinE at the intersection of the center of Second
Street with gain "treet, thence south to tie intersection of Main
Street with Third Street, thence west on Third Street to its inter-
section with First Avenue west, thence north to the intersecticn of
First Avenue 7,est with Second Street, thence east to the place of
beginning, said distridt Q inclue Block No..Lf—of the or gin
Townsite of yalispell, Montara.
Said Special Imprnvement District hereinabove described to
be improved as follows: by establishing an grade upon the alley
within the limits above described, graveling and grading the same,
grading up, the ce_t er of the alley, giving it a rounded and smoth
apparance.
The approximate cost of said improvements is the sum of A250.
and the same shall be paid by special assessments upon all of the
assessable proverty within said Special Improvement Distbict,
exclusive of streets, alleys and public places, and each piece of
parcel of lad within said District S>11 pay thkt proprotion of th',
cost of said improvements as the area thereof bears to th! area of
of the entire d0trict, exclusive of streets, alleys and public
places.
Be it further Resolved that notice be published in the
yalispell journal for at least one publication for the Z. 11 time
regi fired by law, Verefor., said yalispell Journal being a newspaper
of general circulation in the said City of Kalispell, Yont ana, givirqg
notice of the intention onthe part of said. City rouncil to make said
improvereAs notifying all owners or agents of the property within
said Special Improvement District No. 30-to be affected thereby
tht said City Council will meet on the l.th dqW of June 1908, at
8 olcicok P. Y. in the council chambers at the City B411, Kalispell
MoAana, to consder any objections to the final establishment of said,
Special Improvement District, mbich said objections must be in
writing and filed with, the City, Clerk on or before said date.
_t is Qrther ordered by the City Council that all
assessments levied against said propetty within said Special Is prov-
ment Ditrict No. 30 shall be pqid in three equal installments or
payments, the first of which sl-all he paid in the year 1908, and a2la
deferred payments to bear interest at the rate of six p r cent .per
annum, payable anually.
It was thereupon moved by Alderman Rognlien and seconded
