Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Kalispell;
That it is the intention of said City Council to create
a new Special Improvqment Dis trict to be known as Special Im-
provement District No. 62, for the purpose of constructing cement
sidewalks on each side of the Avenue therein, the boundaries
of which said Special Improvement Dist-ict are to be as follows,
to-wit:-
T Beginning at the intersection of the south boundary
1 ine of the Great Northern Rail,.vay Co's right-of-way in the center
line of the alle7 between 7irst and Second Avenues East, thynce
south through the center of said alley to the canter of Third
1 Streeti.thence-west thnough the center of ThiV Street to the
A intersection with the center line of the alley between Main
-Street and First Avenue East; thence north along the center
line of said ally to the south boundary line of the void right-of-
way to the place of beEinning.
Said Special Ingrovemeat District harein above described
to be improved as follows: By constructing cement sidewalks
and curbs ten.feet in width on 5aid First Avenue East, within
the above described limits according to th? specifications for
cement sidewalks as set forth in Section 2 of Article 11 of
Chapter XIT of th, Revised Ordinances of 1899, as amended by
Ordinance No. 197, passed and approved july, 20th, 1508.
The approximate cost cf said imtrovements is t]-,e simi of
1wenty-four cents (24/) per ware foot and the s�-;vae shall be
nj paid by special assessments upon all of the assessable propert.--.7
within said Special Improvement District, exclusive of streets,
alleys anJ public places, and each place or parcel of land within
said dist-ict shall pay t4at proportion of coF t of said im-
provements as the area tY reof to ars to thn area of the entire
district exclusive of streets, alleys and public placQs.

Wispell Jo"rnal for at least one issue for the full time
required by law th; refor, said Kalispell J urnal being a nows-
paper of general circn1ation in said City & Kalinpell,Montana,
giving notice of the intention on thn Dart of said Cit7 Couneil
to make said improvements notifying all <)�kvners Dr nEnnts of th,�
property within said Special improvement District No. 62, to be
affected or benefitted thereby, that said City Council of the City
of Kalispell willmeet on the 6th 6a7 of July, 1909, at 8
otclodK P.M. in the Council Chambers at the City FAII, Kalispell,
Montana, to consider any objections to the final ��stablis.'�me-nt of
said Special Improvement Dip trict, ihich said objections most be
written and filed with the City Clerk on or Wfore saiddate.

It is further ordered by the CK7 Council that all
assessments levied against said propeW within said Syecial
Improvement District To. 62, shall be paid in eight ejqal
installments or payments, the first of which shall be paid
in the year 1909, nrj aT1 deferred payments to bear interest
at the rate of six per cent per annum, payable annually, on all
amounts remaining unpaid.
