HE IT ERSOLVED BY TRA CITY COTRICIL OF THY CITY OF TALISP910
WHAREAS1 it appears to,thB City Council of the Ct;y of
Wispell that itis necessary,for sanitary pnrposes that a
sewer be constructed in the alley in Blocks 126 and 132i
Be it further resolved, that it is the intention of
said City CoNncil to create a new Special Tmprovement Dis trict
to be known as Special Improvenent District No. 68 for th; purpose
of constructing an eight inch (81) lateral sewer therein, which
Special im-provement district -shall include all the lots in
Blocks 126 and 132 of the original townsite of Kalispell,
Montana. Said lateral sewer above mentioned to begin at a
point on An north line of Block 126 and extend from thence south
through the center of the alley in said Blocks 126 and 132 to thle
center of Elventh Street, and there to connect with the eleven
inChsewer haretofore constructed in said Elventh Street. Said
sewer to be constructed of vitrified sewer pipe under the super-
vision of the My Engineer. The approximate cost of said sewer
being the sum of Nine BAndred Dollars ($900.00) and the same
sbAl be paid by special assessment npon all of the assessable
property within said special improvement Wrict, exclusive of
streetsl alleys and public places, and each piece or parcel of
land within said district, shall pay t1lat proportion of�tbe cost
of said improvement as the area thereof bears to the area of the
entirl district, exclusive of streets, alleys and public places.
Be it further resolved, that'notice be published in
the Kalispell Journal fa- at least one issue for t he full time
required by la w t0refor. Said Kalisp;ll J"urnal being a
newspaper of general cirailation in the City of Kalispell,
Montana, giving notice of the intention on the patt of the
City Coundl to make said iqproveuents, notifying all owners
or agents of owners of property within said I'provesent Ditrict
No. 68 to be affe6ted or benefitted thereby. The said City
Council of the City of Kalispell will meet on the 22nd day of
September; 1909, at 8 o'clock P. M. at the Council Chambers at
thR City FAll, Kalispell.Montana, at which time any owner
or agent of property affected thn7eby may appear and file
protest against the establishment of said district.
It is further ortered by the City Council that all
assessments levied against the property within said Spcial
Improvement District No. 68 shall be paid in three eqn"l install-
monts or payments, ths first of which shall be paid in the year
1910 and all deferred payments to be paid at the Ate of six
per cent per annym, payable annually.
