A RNSOlUTION TO ESTABLISH SPECTAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
No, 42.
BE IT RISOIVRD BY TIN CITY COUNCIL OP TIE CITY OF KALISPELL:
That it is theintention of said city coincil to create
a new special improvement district to be khown as Special lqprove-
ment District No. 42 for the purpose of cement walks
on each side of the Avenue therein, the boundaries of which said
special improvement district arentn include Lots numbered seventeen
and eighteen in Block numbered fprty-four of the Original Town -
site of Kalispell,Montana.
Said Special improvement District herein above described
to be improved as follows: By constructing cement sidewalks
on Ist Avenue East and Pirst Street, abutting on the above described
lots according to the secifications for cement walks as set forth
in Section 2 of Article II of Charter-011-of the Revised Ordinances
of 1899 as amended by Ordinance No. 197 passed and approved July
20th 1906,
The approximate cost of said improvement is the sum of
$300.00 and the same sball-be paid by special assessments upon
all of the assessable property within said Special Improvement
District, exclusive of.strents, alleys and pvblic places, and each
piece or parcel of land within said district shall pay that propor-
tion of cost of said improvements as the.area th;reof bears to t,-hqe
area of the entire district exclusive of streets, alleys and
public places.
.Be it further resolved that notice be published in While
KalispelVJournal for at last one issue for the,full time required
by law threfor, said %116pell Journval being a newspaper of general
prerlation in said City of XalispiLl,Xontana, giving notice of the
intantion.on tin part of said City Council to nake said improvements
notifying Q1 ownervand agants af property within said Special
Improvement Distri&Ao. 42 to be affected or benefitted thareby
that said.0ty C9nnail of the City'of Kalispell will qeet on the
5th day of NoOmber 1908 at 6 o'clock P.M. in the CouncilThambers
at the City 011, Xalispill,Montany, to consider any objections to
the final estiblishment of said Special Improvement DipAict whic-t
said objecti ns must be written and filed with the Cit, Clerk on or
before iaW date.
It is further ordered by the City Council that all
assessments levied against said property within said Special 1wp-
rovement District No. 42 shall be paid in eAgM equal Anstallments
or pqrlents, thwe first of wAcih shallbe paid in the year 1909, and
all A;f%rr;d payments to bear interest at the rate of six per
Pont per annus, payible annyally..
