at a mnetino whereof held on the Ist da7 of March, 1909, passed a
resolution declaring the intention of the City Council of tho City

the City of KalispklJontana, and the inhabitants of certain
otber tracts and parcels of land adjoining said Dun;anls Addition,
and all being contigious to the City of Kalispall,MontaAa, all of

Montana, and that it is the intention of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, and d' the City Council thereof, to pass a resolution to

required to publish notice once a week for two snqcessive weeks in
the Kalispell Journal, a n5aspyper of general cirrulation pnblUNd
nearest the land above described, which said notice shall declare
to resident freeholtders within th.e boundaries of thn above de-
scribed tract of land, t hat thi foregoing resDlution has passed
declaring the Mention of the said City Council to extend the
boun0aries of. the said City or Kalispell in the manner aforesaid,
and notifying all resident freshol ers of said above describedl. ia:ndis
t1rat they Y,"y express their approval or disapproval of said ex-
tent4on of the City Limits, in writing, left with the City Clerk
at may Vtme withia twenty (20) da7s after the date of the first
publication of said notice.
And it appearing to the City Conn&13 b7 "Miavit of the
City Clerk ana Manager of the Kalispell Journal, that said Resol-
ution had been duly published in said Kalispell Journal fa- two
successive weeks, as required by law and the provisions of said
resoluthon, and that all the nasident ?reehoVers of said Duncan's
Addition and contiguous territory, hAd notice of their right to
express approval or diapapproval of the propDsed exte4sion of the
corporate limits of said City of Kalispell set forth' in said
Resolution, and at this time it appaying that there had been no
written expressions of disa7proval filed with tA City C ork
against the final passage d' said resUntion, ana that thre had
beenwritten expressnions of approval sig,d by over one-aalf of
the resident freehollers of saia Duncan's Addition and contignous
territor7.
Be It Therefore Further Resylvedi that the corporate
limits of the City of KalispalliMontaral.bUaltered and extenied,
and th swan are hereby altered and extended to Anclude that certain
platted tract or parcel of land contiguous to thaVity of Kalispal,
Montala known as Duncants Addit on to Kalispill, Monjanal accord-
ing tc the map or plat of said Duncan's Addition now on file and
of record in the office of the County Clerk and Reporder of Flathecall

heretofore passed, or which may hereafter be passed, shall apply
to UP territory annexed by the terms of this resolution in the
sate manner as to all other parts of tho City of Kalispell,hontana.
