Resolution 227 - SID 48A RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH SPECIAL IlTROVEli-ES"frT DISTRICT NO. 48: BE IT ORDAINED BY TV CITY COUNCIL OF THE OTTY OP KAI- ISPELLIXONTANA: That it is the intentlon of smV City Council to create a new.Special Improvement District to be known as Special Im- provement district 7c 48, for the purpose of constratting cement sidewalks on each side of the Avenue therein, the boundaries of which said Special Inprovemert District are to be as follows, to- Wit; - Beginning at the intersection of the center of Second; Strelt with the cewL er line of alley between Fourth and Fifth Avenue West, thence soNth throvgh ton_cypter of sajd 41ley to the center of Third Streetithence west throvEh the center of Third Street to its intersection with t'he continiiation of the cente-, line of the alley between Fifth and Sixth Avenues West; thence North through the center of said alley to the center of Second Street to the plate of be3inning. Said district to include the east half of Block 167 and the west half of Block 51, original townsite of Kal isp ell Montana. Said Special InVrovement District herein above described to be improved as follows:- By constructing dement sidwaalks on said Fifth Avenue West within the above described limits ac- cording to the zpecifications for cement sidewalks as set forth in Section 2 of Article II of Chapter XII of the Revised0rdinancas. of�1899j as amended by Ordinanse No 197, passed and approved July 20th 1905. The approximate cost of said improvements is tho sym of $700.00 and the same shAll be paid by special assessments upon all of the assessable property within said Special Improvement Dis- trict, exclusive of streets, alleys and public places, abd each p0ce or rarcel of land within said #istrict shall pay that pva- portion of cost of said improvements as the area th.ereof bears to the area of the entire dktrict exclosive of s treets, alleys and public places. Be it further resolved that notice be published in the Kalispell Journal for at least one issue for th; full time re- qaVed by law therefor, said Kalispell Journal being a newspaper of eeneyal cire7lation in said City of Kalispell, hontana, giving notice of the intention on the part of said City Council to make sa4d improvements notifying all owners or agents of the property within said Special Improvement District No. 46, yo be affected o r benef itted the reby, that sk. d C it7 Counc il of the C ity of Xal- ispiLl will meet on the 7th da7 of June, 1909 at 8 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chambers at the City BA11, Kalispell 11ontana, to consider any objections to thR final establishment of sdid Sp:cial Improvement District, which 5aid objections mnst be written and filed with the City Clerk on or before said date. M It is further ordered by theCity Council that all assessments Ivied against said propert7 withinsaid Special Im- provement District No. 48 shall:be paid in eight equal in- stallments or payments, the first of which shall be paid in th-B year 1909, and all deferred payments to bear interest at the rate of six per cent per annym, payable annually.
