BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITV COUNCIL ON THE CITY OF KAIMPT&U.
That is is the in_antion of said City Coun.il to create,
a new Special Improvement D Spa--ic to be,known as Sp9t.;..al Im-
provement District Ho. 54, for tne przipo se of constructing cement
sidewalks on each side of the street therein, the `bounda,ries of
hdch Special improvement District are to be as follows, to -wit:)
To include Cats 12 and 13 in Block 34, 1 and 15 in Block 47,
12 and 13 in Block 35, 1. and 24 in Blodc 46, 12 and 13 in Block
36, 1 and 24 in Block 45, 6 and. 7 in Block 37, 1 in Block 441
and 7 in Block 38, and 1 and 12 in Block 43.
Said Special Improvement ent District herein above described
to be imprcvcd nz follows: By con6tructing cement sidewalks
at their present width can said Street with the above described
limits and along said lots according to the specifications or
cement sidewalks as set forth in Section 2 of Article 11 of Chap
t er XII of the Revised Ordinances of 1899, as amended by Crd-
inarce No. 197, passed and approved July 20th, 1908.
The approximate cost of said orovements is the siuUn
of twenty—four cents (241) per square foot and the .same shall be
paid for by special assessments upon all of the assessable pro-
perty wit nin s -i d Spy c ial. I"provement I is i;r ict , axc? us ive of
streets, alleys and public pl.ces, and each piece or parcel of
land within said District shall pay that ptopo rt _ on of cost of
said improvements as the area thy reof bears to the area of the
entire district exclusvie of streets, alleys and public pJ aGes.

quired by law therefor, raid Kalispell Journal being a nwspaper

make said improvements notifying all, owners or agents of the pry
perty within said Special Improvement District No. 54 to be af-
fected or benefitted thereby, that said C:ty Council of t e City
of Kalispell wil.l meet on the 7t h day of june, 1909, at S o'clock
P.Y. in the Council Chambers, at the City Ml.l., li spell, Montna,
to consider any objections to the final establUblent of said
Special I prrjvement District which said ^jections must be
written and fild with the City Clerk on onbefore said date,
It fort e r ordered by the City Council, that all
assessments levied against said property within said Special im-
provement District No. 54, shall be paid in eight equal install-
ments or payments, the first of which h shall be paid in he year
1909, and all deferred payments to bear i.nerest at the rate of
six per cent. per annum payable annually.
