A RESOIU7101 TO ARTARLISH SPECIAL IMPROVEMM DISTPICT.

BF IT RESOLVED BY TEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL:
That it is the intention of said My council to create a new
Special Improvement District to be known as Special Improvement
District No. 27, for the purpose of constructing cement walks
therein, the boundaries of which said Special Improvement district
are to be as follows; to -wit:
Commencing at a point in the center of the alley between Second
and Third Avenues East, at its intersection fit the South line of
the Great Northern Railway CompanylsRight of Way, thence south in thr.
center of the said alley between second and Third Avenues, East to
the intersection with QR south line of Lot one in Block 83; thence
East along the South line of said Lot one in Block 83 and Lot 12 in
Block 82 to its intersection with the center line of the alley betwae%n
Third and Fourth Qvenues East; thence North Ung the center line of
said alley to its intersection with the south lihb of the Great
Northern Railway Company, Ri#ht of Way; thence west along said south
line of said Railway Company's Right of Way to the place of begin-
bing.
Said district to include the following described property, to -
wit: Lot 12-in Block 82, two West half of Mocks 79, 62, 59, 42 and
39; and Lot 1 in Block 83 and East Bhlf of Block 78, 63, 58, 43 and
38.
Said Special Improvement District herein above described Is to
be improved as follows; by constructing cement walks o n both sides
of Third Avenues East within the abo ve described boundaries, which
cement walks stall be constructed so as to conform to the following
specifications, to -wit; said walks to be constructed of Portland
cement, sand and gravel mixed with water; fonndat ions to be of not
less than four inches of gravel or dinders; concrete to be not less
than three and one half inches thick, made in the following propor-
one part acceptable Portland cement, two parts sand and four
parts broken stone or gravel. The top dressing of said walks shall ,
be not less than three fonrths of ur inch thick consisting of one
part Portland cement, same as used in concrete to one and one half
part sand; Walk to be five feet in width, and to be a space of one
foot between property line and walk,
The approximate cost of said improvements is the sum of $3200.ao
and the same shall be paid by srecial assessment upon all of the
assessable property within said Special 1Eir)rovenert District,
exclusive of streets, alleysand public PlQesi and each piece or
parcel of land within said district shall pay that proportion of
the cost of said improvements as the area thereof hears to the area
of the entire district exclusive of Streets, alleys and public placeas
Be it further resolved that notice be published in the Kalispell
Journal for at least one issue for the full time required by law
therefor, said Kalispell Journal being a newspaper of general cir-
culation in said City of Kalispell, Montana, giving notice of the
intention on the part of said City Council to make said improve-
ments notifying all owners or agents of the property within thoe said
Spicial Improvement District No. 27 to be affected or benefited
thereby, that said City Council of the City of Kalispell will meet
on the 21st day of Mqv 1908, at 8 o' clock P. M. in the Council
Chambers at the City Hall, Kalispell, Montana to consider any objeo-
tiens to the final establishment of said Special Improvement District
which said objections most be written and filed with the City Clerk

It is further ordered by the City Council that all assessments
levied against said property within said special improvement
district No. 27, shall be in eight equal install mehtscT pqFments,,
the first of which shall be paid pn Ile yjar 1908, and all deferred
payments to bear interest at the Tate -of lix per cent per annum,
payable annually,
