Resolution - SID 26A WSOUTION TO ERTABLISH SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO." 26. Be it.Resolved b7 the City Council of the City of Kalispell: That it is the intention of said city council to create a new Special Improvement District tc be known as Special Improvement . District No. 261 for the purpose of improving the avenues therein, 6stablish.prades, curbs and construct grass plats, pow grass seeds and At trees therein and to grade the avenues therein, the boundaries of which said Special IMprovement District, are to be as follows, to -wit!, Commencing in the center of the alley between Fourth and Fifth Avenues East, at nits intersection with the center of Seventh Street thenbe Ease 366-feet in the center of Sevent4 Street to the intersedtion with the center of .the alley between Pifth.and Sixth Avenues East; thence north in the center of thealley between Fifth and Sixth Avernues East to the center of Fifth Street; thence crest® in the center of Fifth Street 366 feet to the intersection of the center of the alley between Fourth and Fifth Avenues East; thence south in the center 2f,the alley to the place of beginn0g, Said Special Im rovement District herein above described to be improved as foHows: by establishing a grade, upon Fifth' Avenue within the limits above described, constructing curbs within said Boundaries on both sides of slid Avenue, graveling, grading and boulevarding the same, sowing grass seeds and planting trees in the grassplats, grading up the center of said Avenue between said curbs which said curbs shall be eighteen feet from the property lines, bringing the Avenue to grade and placing gravel thereon, giving it a rounded and smooth appearance and surface And also by establishing and putting in crossings wherever the same may be necessary' The approximate cost of said improvementsis the sum of $140.00 and the same shall be paid be special assessments upon all of the assessable property within said Special Improvement District, exclusive or streets, alleys and public places, and each piece or paredl of land within said district shal, pay that proportion of the. cost of s id improvements as the area thereof bears to the area of the entire district, exclusive of streets, alleys and public places. Be it further resolved that notice be published " in the Kalispell)Journal for Dt least one issue for the full time required by la1%V therefor, said Kalispell journal being a newspaper of gen eral circulation ir said City of Kalispell, Montana, giving notice of the intention on ' the part of said City Council to take said improve- ments notifying all owners or agents of the property within said Special Improvement District No. 27, to be affected or benefited, thereby, that said City Council of the'City of Kalispell will meet can the ist day of June, 1908 at E O'clock P. M. in the Council Wambers at the City W19 Kalispell, Montana to consider any objections to the final establishment of said Special Improvement District, which said objectichs must be writtin and filed with the City Merk on or before date. It is further ordered by the City CoNncilv that all assessments levied apainst said proTarty within said Special Improvement District No. 26, shall be paid in three equal installments or payments, the first of whiich shall be paid in three years 1908, and all deferred payments to bear interest at the rate of six per cent per annum payable annually.
