RESOLUMIN ONN ACQUISITION OR DEVE LOPNIENT
FOR OUTDOOR RECREATION
UNDER Till: LAND AND WATER CONSERVATION FUND PROGRM
WHEREAS, THE City of Kali�pojl i5 interested in acquiring lands or

developing outdoor recreational facilities on the following described project
for the enjoyrient of the citizenry of City of Kalispell and the State of
Montana:

'Total Estimatc(l Cost $110,000.00
Brief Description of Project-
Purclase and 'aevelop appro:6.mately 20 acres of
park land in the S.E.corner of tbo city of Kalispell.
AND, Land and Watc-r Conservation Fund financial assistance is required for
the acq�isition or development of said outaoer recreational facilities,
Noll THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City of Kalispell that the project
dc.s< cibed above be authoriz'-ed,
AND, be it further resolved that said City of Kalispell make application to
thc: State Fish and Game Commission to seek Land and Water Conservation Fund finan-
cial assistance from the 'Bureau of Outdoor Recreation in the amount of So% of the
actual cost of the project in behalf of said City of Kalispell.
AND, be it further resolved by the _�CJ�,tyof �Kalispl�ll that it certifies to
the following:
1. That it will accept the terms and conditions set forth in the
BOR Grants -in -Aid Manual and which will be part of the Project
Agreement for any grant awarded under the attached proposal.
2. That it is in complete accord with the attached proposal and
that it will carry out the acquisition and/or development in
the manner described in the proposal and any plans and speci-
fications attached thereto unleass prior approval for any change
has been received from the Cormiission.
3. That it has the ability and intention to finance its share of
the cost of the project and that the project will be operated
and maintained at the expense of said -City of Kalispell— for

posed project.
S. That it will not discriminate against any person on the basis of
race, color or national origin in the use of any property or facil-
ity acquired or developed pursuant to this proposal, and shall comply
with the terms and intent of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964,
P.L. 88-352 (1964) and of the regulations promulgated pursuant to such
Act by the Secretar_v o:f the Inteflor and contained in 43 CFR 17.
6_ That it will maintain adequate financial -records on the proposed pro-
ject to substantiate -claims for cost sharing.
