A RESOLUTION LEVYING AN ASSESSMENT FOR THE COST OF OIL SPRINKLING
THE STREETS AND AVENUES WITH OIL AND DUST CONTROL IN OIL SPRINKLING
DISTRICT NO.2, FOR THE YEAR 1980.
WHEREAS, that the entire cost of the Oil Sprinkling District No.2
for the year 1980 is estimated to be $187,000.00; and the City has
cash on hand of $SO,000.00 for this purpose; and
WHEREAS, at a public hearing held on the 7th day of July
1990, the City Council did consider all objections made to said
estimate and to the basis of levy and assessment for payment of
said cost;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION I. That a tax be levied for the total net cost, or
$137,000.00, be in the amounts set opposite the description of
(�ach lot or parcel of land, as shown by the special assessment
lists on file in the office of the City Clerk.
SECTION II. The amount of said tax shall be levied proportionately
on an area basis in the amount of $00.002 per sq. ft. or $14.20 for
each 7100 sq. ft. lot or parcel of land within the district except
public streets or rights of way.
SECTION III. The City Clerk will forthwith furnish a proper copy
of this resolution to the City Treasurer as provided by law.
