Resolution 3283 - Emergency Budget ExpenditureNOTICE
The City Council of the City of Kalispell will hold a public
hearing, at which time any taxpayer may be heard on the following
resolution at the time and place set forth therein:
RESOLUTION NO. 3283
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT AN EMERGENCY EXISTS AND THAT IT IS
NECESSARY TO MAKE EXPENDITURES IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNT PROVIDED BY
THE 1979-80 BUDGET FOR THE GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, certain unforseen and emergency expenditures have arisen
in an amount of $4,000.00 in the budget of the Police Department for
unanticipated overtime salary requirements; and
WHEREAS, it is therefore necessary to budget this revenue to cover
the necessary additional expenses;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, that by reason of the facts hereinabove stated an emer-
gency is hereby declared to exist and an expenditure of $4,000.00
in excess of the 1979-80 Police Department Budget in the General
Fund is necessary; protests if any, shall be heard at 7:30 P.M. on the
5th day of May, 1980 at the regular City Council Meeting, Council
Chambers, Kalispell, Montana.
