A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT WANDA E. McDOWELL AS DEPUTY CITY CLERK
AND TO AUTHORIZE HER TO EXECUTE CITY DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE
CITY CLERK.
WHEREAS, the duly appointed and acting City Clerk of the City
of Kalispell,.to-wit: Marjorie Giermann, may, from time to time,
be absent from the city or by illness, incapacitated to handle the
affairs of her office; and
WHEREAS, in such instances and at such times it may be necessary
to carry out the city's business, that certain documents and re-
cords, etc., be executed without delay by the City Clerk for the
City; and
WHEREAS, Wanda E. McDowell is a qualified employee in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Kalispell and in such in-
stances and at such times she should be permitted to execute
documents or otherwise act in the place and stead of said City
Clerk,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF KALISPELL, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Wanda E. McDowell is hereby appointed as Deputy
City Clerk in and for the City of Kalispell.
Section 2. In the absence of City Clerk Marjorie Giermann,
or her successor, Wanda E. McDowell may and is hereby empowered
to �-�xecute documents for the City of Kalispell or perform such
otll�,,_�r duties as may be imposed upon the City Clerk by law as long
as sz_-tid Wanda E. McDowell is an employee of the City of Kalispell.
Section 3. When executing documents on behalf of the duly
4:,,ppointed and acting City Clerk, Wanda E. McDowell, as Deputy
City Clerk, shall inscribe the name of said City Clerk on such
documents and add thereto the words, "by: Wanda Z. McDowell, Deputy
City Clerk."
