A RESOLUTION TO ESTIMATE THE COST OF LIGHTING THE STREETS AND
AVENUES IN THE CITY SPECIAL LIGHTING DISTRICT, AND OF THE
INTENTION OF LEVYING AND ASSESSING THE COST THEREOF FOR THE
YEAR 1979.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That the entire cost of the City Special Lighting
District for the year 1979 is estimated to be $53,500.00.
SECTION II. That one-fourth of the cost of lighting said
district, or $13,375.00, shall be paid from the General Fund.
SECTION III. That it is the intention of the City Council to
levy and assess a tax for the remaining three -fourths of said
cost, or $40,125.00, in the amounts set opposite the description
of each lot or parcel of land within said district as shown by
the special assessment lists on file in the office of the City
clerk.
SECTION IV. The amount of said tax shall be levied on an area
basis in the amount of $00.0007 per sq. ft., or $4.97 for each
7100 sq. ft. lot or parcel of land within the district.
SECTION V. The City council will hold a public hearing on said
intent of levy and assessment before final adoption thereof;
said public hearing shall be held at the regular meeting of the
City Council to be held in the City Council Cham4ers at 7-,30 p.m.
on April 2, 1979. The City Clerk will give notice of said
public hearing as provided by law.
