VAMiREAS, upon the advice and recommendation of John C. Schwartz
Architect who is the City's consultant and

engineer on said project, certain changes and alterations of design and specifica-
tiono have been found necessary and adviseable and in the best interests of the
City; and said changes and alterations could not have been necessarily foreseeable
when -the originaa design and specifications were prepared on this phase of the
EDA Project #05-51-26637 and said changes are contained in
Project
Exhibit A attached hereto and are -by this refemence.made a part hereof; and
WBEREAS, it appears in -the best interests of the City to approve said changes
and alterations,
NOW THMWO1E , pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-1204, R.C.M., 1947,
be it hereby resolved.
1. The alterx-bions and modifications of the specifications and plans of the
contract between the City of Kalispell and Stewart & Janes
Contractor
dated August 9, 1978 _, as set out in Exhibit A attached hereto, axe
hereby approved; and
P. As soon as the price to be paid for said alterations and modifications
are agreed to in writing, signed by -the contractor, as hereby approved by the
Council, this approval thereof shall be in effect.
