A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ANNEX TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
TO BE KNOWN AS SOUTH MEADOWS ADDITION NO. 89 AND TO FIX THE DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING THEREON; TO PROVIDE FOR PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF
SAID HEARING.
WHEREAS, Darwin Hamilton has made petition to the City of
Kalispell for annexation to said City of certain territory to be
known as SOUTH MEADOWS ADDITION NO. 89; and
WHEREAS, a preliminary plat thereof has been reviewed and
considered in accord with the laws of the State of Montana and the
subdivision regulations of the City of Kalispell by the Kalispell
City -County Planning Board and said Board has, by communication
dated August 30, 1977 recommended that said petition be granted
under certain conditions; and it appears that said conditions are
or will be adequately satisfied, and that it is to the best interest
of the City of Kalispell that said petition be granted,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF KALISPELL, AS FOLLOWS:
1. It is the intention of the City of Kalispell that territory
comprising South meadows Addition No. 89 shall be annexed to the
City of Kalispell and shall be classified a Residential R-4MH Dis-
trict in accord with the City of Kalispell Zoning ordinance, as
adopted November 28, 1977- Said territory is more particularly
described as follows:
A tract of land in the NEh of Section 19, Township 28 North, Range
21 West, M.P.M., Flathead County, Montana, more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the Quarter Corner common to Sections 19 and 20, of
said Township and Range; thence
South 88136'09" West a distance of 464.51 feet along the South
boundary of the NEk of said Section 19 to the centerline of Ashley
Creek and the True Point of Beginning; thence along the center-
line of Ashley Creek the following two courses:
North 66022115" West a distance of 304.81 feet; thence
North 54005143" West a distance of 64.22 feet; thence
North 72056107" East a distance of 62.28 feet; thence
North 17003153" West a distance of 20.00 feet; thence
North 72056107" East a distance 713.01 feet to the Westerly
right of way boundary of the Kalispell South Loop Road (Montana
Highway Project No. S-404(7)); thence
North 13025157" East a distance of 69.63 feet along said right of
way boundary; thence
South 72156'07" West a distance of 748.35 feet; thence
North 17003'53" West a distance of 20.00 feet; thence
South 72'56'07" West a distance of 107.85 feet to the centerline
of Ashley Creek; thence meandering along the centerline of said
Ashley Creek the following three courses:
North 25058'53" West a distance of 102.65 feet; thence
North 10005'55" East a distance of 129.22 feet; thence
North 75"50'48" East a distance of 622.91 feet; thence continuing
North 75050'48" East a distance of 50.00 feet to a point; thence
South 89059122" East a distance of 208.71 feet to a point on the
aforementioned right of way boundary of the Kalispell South Loop
Road (Montana Highway Project No. S-404(7)); thence
North 0002101" East a distance of 50.0 feet along said right of
way boundary; thence
North 89"59'22" West a distance of 208.68 feet, thence
North.0004125" East a distance of 575.61 feet; thence
North 89059'43" East a distance of 88.67 feet; thence

South 87152'01" West a distance of 395.00 feet to the centerline
of the aforementioned'Ashley Creek; thence

of the said Ashley Creek to the North boundary of the SkNEh of
said Section 19; thence

to a point; thence continuing

North 0018'20" West a distance of 1305.10 feet to the North boundary
of said Section 19; thence

South 0018120" East a distance of 1304.72 feet to the North boundary
of the ShNE14 of said Section 19;-thence

boundary to the West boundary of the said S35NEk; thence
South 0018'20" East a distance of 1304.10 feet along said West
boundary to the South boundary of the NE4 of said Section 19;

boundary to the center of Ashley Creek and the Point of Beginning.
2. A public hearing on said petitionfor annexation
will be held by the Kalispell City Council at its regular
meeting held in the Council Chambers of the Kalispell City
Hall commencing at 7:30 p.m. on the lst day of May, 1978.
3. The City Clerk will forthwith prepare and publish
in the Daily Inter Lake a dai)lyrnfe-v-spap blished at
Kalispell, Montana, proper no ce f said public hearing.
