RESOLUTION NO. 3171
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. 325.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of
the City of Kalispell, Montana, to create Special Improvement
District No. 325 for the following described property attached
hereto as Exhibit "A" and by this reference made a part hereof.
SECTION 2. That the general character of the improvements
to be made in said proposed Special Improvement District is
construction of streets, curbs, and gutters, two arch culverts,
a storm drain and sanitary sewer system,
SECTION 3- That the estimated cost of said improvements is
$1,100,000.00.
SECTION 4. That the entire cost and expense of said improve-
ments shall be assessed against each lot within the district to
be assessed for that part of the whole cost which its area bears
to the area of the entire district.
SECTION 5. That said assessment shall be paid for in full
upon completion of the contract, or shall be paid in 20 equal
installments, hereby extended over a period of 20 years. Said
assessment shall constitute a fund to be known as Special Improve-
ment District No. 325.
SECTION 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in Special
Improvement District Warrants issued against said district in
sums not to exceed $ 19000XC�" each, bearing interest at a rate that i.
no greater than allowed by the laws of the State of Montana from the
date of registration until called for redemption or paid,in full.
SECTION 7. That on the 3rd day of July , 1978, at 7:30,
p.m., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall in the City of
Kalispell, Montana, at a regular meeting thereof, the City Council
will hear and pass on any protests that may be made against the
making of said improvements or the creation of said district.
SECTION 8. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to give the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by
publication and mailing as required by law, such publication to
be made in a daily newspaper and/or a weekly newspaper published
in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
