RESOLUTION NO. 3168
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. 326.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of
the City of Kalispell, Montana, to create Special Improvement
District No. 326 for the following described property:
Lots 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43 and 44,
Park View Terrace Addition No. 1, Addition No. 85 to
Kalispell.
SECTION 2. That the general character of the improvements
to be made in said proposed Special Improvement District is to
construct streets, curbs and gutters, water facilities and
sanitary sewer system.
SECTION 3. That the estimated cost of said improvements is
$75,000.00.
SECTION 4. That the entire cost and expense of said improve-
inents shall be assessed against each lot within the district to
be assessed as follows: Costs of construction of streets, curbs
and gutters plus one-half of the engineering and administration
costs on the basis of the proportion that the lineal feet of said
parcel affronting upon said street bears to the total lineal feet
of said street wthin said district; costs of water facilities and
sanitary sewer system and one-half of the engineering and admin-
istration costs for that part of the whole cost which its area
bears to the area of the entire district.
SECTION 5. That said assessment 'shall be paid for in full
upon completion of the contract, or shall be paid in ten equal
installments, hereby extended over a period of 10 years. Said
assessment shall constitute a fund to be known as Special Improve-
ment District No. 326.
SECTION 6. That said improvements shall be paid for in Special
Improvement District Warrants issued against said district in
sums not to exceed $1,000.00 each, bearing interest at a rate
that is no greater than allowed by the laws of the State of Montana,
from the date of registration until called for redemption or paid
in full.
SECTION 7. That on the 3rd day of July, 1978, at 7:30,
p.m., in the Council Chambers ofthe City Hall in the City of
Kalispell, Montana, at a regular meeting thereof, the City Council
will hear and pass on any protests that may be made against the
making of said improvements or th,�acreation of said district.
