Resolution 3131 - Name Change to Bountiful DriveRESOLUTION NO. 3131
A RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE NAME OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF
KALISPELL WITHIN HIGHLAND PARK SECOND ADDITION TO BOUNTIFUL DRIVE,
AND DIRECTING THE CITY DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS PREPARE AND FILE
APPROPRIATE PLAT REFLECTING SAME.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, within Highland Park Second Addition to the City of
Kalispell, a certain east -west street connecting with the east side
of Clairmont Street and extending easterly to the vicinity of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -Day Saints and thence northerly
a short distance to a dead end, has been duly dedicated as a public
street, and said street does not appear to have been named
in the plat of said subdivision, or same could be considered
as an extension of said Clairmont Street, but Clairmont
Street is properly and generally a north -south street; and
WHEREAS, a request has been made of the City of Kalispell
to name and designate said east -west street as "Bountiful Drive"; and
WHEREAS, none of the property owners abutting said street have
objected to so naming said street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find it to be in the best
interests of the City and the inhabitants thereof to so name and
designate said street,
NOW THEREFORE,,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA:
1. The above described public street within Highland Park
Second Addition of the City of Kalispell, connecting with the east
side of Clairmont Street and extending easterly to the vicinity of
the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -Day Saints and thence northerly
a short distance to a dead end, shall be and hereby is named and
designated as "Bountiful Drive".
