A RESOLUTION TO ALTER AND AMEND THE PL=S AND SPECIFICATIONS OF CONTRACT WITH
BANDON CONSTRUCTION COMPANY ON S. I. D.'#324 CONCRETE ALLEY PAVMENT T"RovEmENn
WHEREAS, the City did, on March 18, 1977 enter into a contract with Bandon
Construction Company, of Kalispell, Montana for paving and improving First Alley
East from Fifth Street to Center Street on the S.I.D. #324 Concrete Alley Pavqmen
Improvement Project; and
VHERFASv upon the advice and recommendation of Thomas, Dean & Hoskins, Inc.
who is the City's consultant and engineer on said project, certain changes and
alterations of design and specifications have been found necessary and adviseable
and in the beat interests of the City; and said changes and alterations could not
have been necessarily foreseeable when the original design and specifications
were prepared on this phase of the Concrete Alley Pavement Improvement Project,
and said changes are contained in Exhibit "All attached hereto and are by this
reference made a part hereof; and
WEEREAS, it appears in the best interests of the City to approve said changes
and alterations,
NOW THEREFORE, puxsuant to -the provisions of Section 11-1204, R6C,M,, 1947�
be it hereby resolved:
1. The alterations and modifications of the specifications and plans of the
contract between the City of Kalispell and Bandon Construction Company, dated
March 18, 1977, as set out in Exhibit "All attached hereto, axe hereby approved; and
2. As soon as the price to be paid for said alterations and modifications
are agreed to in writing, signed by the contractor, as hereby approved by the
Council, this approval thereof shall be in effect.
