RESOLUTION NO. 3096
A RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE NAME OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF
KALISPELL WITHIN HIGHLAND PARK SECOND ADDITION TO "CONT�7_w DRIVE",
AND DIRECTING THE CITY DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO PREPARE AND
FILE APPROPRIATE PLAT REFLECTING SAME.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, within Highland Park Second Addition to the City of
Kalispell, a certain east -west street connecting U.S. Highway No. 93
with the north end of Clairmont Street has been duly dedicated as
a public street, and said street does not appear to have been named
in the plat of said subdivision, or same could be considered as an
extension of said Clairmont Street, but Clairmont Street is properl,v
and generally a north -sough street; and
WHEREAS, a request has been made to the City of Kalispell to
name and designate said east -west street as "Conway Drive" in honor
of the late Dr. William Q. Conway; and
WHEREAS, none of the property owners abutting said street have
objected to so naming said street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find it to be in the best interests
of the City and the inhabitants thereof to so name and designate said
street,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA:
1. The above described public street within Highland Park Second
Addition of the City of Kalispell, connecting U. S. Highway No. 93
with the north end of Clairmont Street, shall be and hereby is named
and designated as "Conway Drive".
2. The City Director of Z P1 ic Works is hereby directed to
prepare a pl�t showing such chang of name and present same to
