A RESOLUTION TO ALTER AND AMEND THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF CONTRACT WITH
LOFTUS IANDSCAPING, INC. ON KALISPELL GOIF COURSE PROJECT.
WEEREASp the City did, on July 22, 1975, enter into a contract with Loftus
landscaping, Inc. of Kennewick, Washington for irrigation design and construction
and related work on the Kalispell Golf Course Project; and
WHEHEAS, upon the advice and recommendation of Robert Muir Graves, Golf
Course Architect, who is the City's consultant and engineer on said project,
certain changes a -ad alterations of design and specifications have been found
necessary and advisable and in the best interests of the city; and said changes
and alterations could not have been necessarily foreseeable when the original
design and specifications were prepared on this phase of the golf course project,
and said changes axe contained in Exhibit "All attached hereto and is by this
reference made a part hereof; and
WEEREAS, it appears in the best interests of the City to approve said changes
and alterations,
NOW THEMWORE, pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-12o4, RX-M., 1947,
be it hereby resolved:
1. The alterations and modifications of the specifications and plans of the
contract between the City of Kalispell and Loftus Landscaping, Inc., dated July
22, 1975, as set out in Exhibit -"All attached hereto, is hereby approved-, and
2. As soon as the price to be paid for said alterations and modifications
axe agTeed to in writing, signed by -the contractor and approved by the Council,
this approval thereof shall be in effect.

The following changes are hereby made 'Go the Contract dated July 22, 1975:
1. Add to the contract: "install seven (7) additional heads and move
two (2) sprinkler beads as directed by the Project Superiatendent.
2. Delete from 2.3-4. of the project apecificatJ.0no.- 1114

Architect, the Contractor shall adjust the risers, rotor pop -ups,
quick coupling valves and any valve boxes to grade and shalJ repair
any damage done to -the turf. Risers shallnot be installed in
bunker or green ameas.11
3- No Change to Contract Price.
4. No Change in Contract Time.
JUSTYPTOATION
The spwkuklem adjurtments and additions are required -to propeAy cover -the
areas. The adjustments of risers, etc. next'sp=ing can be accomplished by the
grounds crew. Therefore no additional costs. ame requi-ted to acquire the sp=inkler
head adjustments and additiions.�
ACCEPTANCE'
We, the undersigned contractor, have given careful consideration to the
changes proposed and hereby agree that we will provide all eqaipment, - furnish
all, materials, except as may be otherwise noted herein, and perform all services
necessary for the work specified and'will accept as full :payment . therefore the
price shown herein.
