A RESOLUTION TO INCORPORATE INTO THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA,
FRENCH ADDITION, ADDITION NO. 56.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the Petition of Luther L. French
and Jean E, French, husband and wi�e,
filed with the Citv Council of th City of Kalispell, on the
day of t 1974, and submission to said Council
E;� said petiti3in_ers`of'_'�� —plat reflecting the survey and designation
of that territory adjoining and adjacent to the City of Kalispell,
as an addition thereto, and pursuant to Section 11-401, Revised
Codes of Montana, 1947, the Council and Mayor do hereby approve
that said territory may become a part of the City of Kalispell,
to be known as:
FRENCH ADDITION
ADDITION NO. 56
SECTION 2. The City Council has found that inasmuch as dedication
of park land within the platted area of French Addition No. 56
would be unsuitable, uneconomicali difficult to develop or maintain
or otherwise is unsuitable for park and playground purposes, it is
hereby ordered by the City Council of the City of Kalispell, Flathead
County, Montana, that land dedication for park purposes be waived, and,
inasmuch as the land included in this addition will, with other land
already in the City of Kalispell, be included into a regular sub-
division of the City, the City will accept cash in lieu of park land
in accord with Title 11, Chapter 38, R.C.M., 1947, on the basis of
said subdivision.
SECTION 3. That upon the proper filing of said plat in the office
of the County Clerk and Recorder of Flathead County, Montana, said
territory shall become a part of the City of Kalispell, and shall
be classified as a No. 1 Residence District of said City.
