A RESOLUTION TO INCORPORATE INTO THE CITY OF KALISPELL, AS AN
ADDITION, KALISPELL LUMBER ADDITION, KALISPELL ADDITION NO. 50
B17 IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL
MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the petition of the general partners
of the Kalispell Lumber Co., a limited partnership, filed with the
City Council of the City of Kalispell, on the 6th day of May, 1974,
and the submission to said Council by said Petitioners of a plat
reflecting the survey and designation to that territory adjoining
and adjacent to the City of Kalispell, into streets and blocks as
an addition thereto, and pursuant to Section No. 11-401,,Revised
Codes of Montana, 1947, as amended, the Council and Mayor do hereby
approve that said territory may become a part of the City of
Kalispell., to be known as:
KALISPELL LUMBER, KALISPELL ADDITION NO. 50.
SECTION 2. The City Council has found that inasmuch as dedication
of park land within the platted area of Kalispell Lumber, Kalispell
Addition No. 50 would be unsuitable, uneconomical, difficult to
develop or maintain or otherwise is unsuitable for park and play-
ground purposes, it is hereby ordered by the City Council of the
City of Kalispell, Flathead County, Montana, that land dedication
for park purposes be waived and that cash in lieu of park land be
accepted in accordance with Title 11, Chapter 38, R.C.M., 1947.
It is ordered that the amount to be paid to the city in lieu of
p,--irk is $ 2,910-50 which shall be deposited in the Park Fund of
the City to be used according to law.
SECTION 3. That upon the proper filing of said plat in the office
of the County Clerk and Recorder of Flathead County, Montana, said
territory shall become a part of the City of Kalispell, and shall
be classified as a No. 4, Main Business District of said City.
