RESOLUTION NO. 2910
A RESOLUTION TO GRANT AN EASEMENT TO PACIFIC POWER AND
LIGHT COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Pacific Power and Light Company has purchased
Lots 9, 10, 11, and 12, Block 75 of Kalispell, Montana, and
WHEREAS, the building presently thereon does encroach slightly
upon 5th Street and the West alley of Main Street; and
WHEREAS, said Pacific Power and Light Company is remodeling
said building and it would be to the best interest of the Cityt) grant an
easement of encroachment on said City street and alley; and
WHEREAS, such an easement was granted by the City and
recorded in Book 551 at Page 391, records of the Clerk and Recorder of
Flathead County, but that said easement did not grant sufficient space for
the proposed refacing of said building,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
The Mayor is hereby authorized to grant to the Pacific Power and
Light Company an easement which shall describe the encroachment on 5th
Street and the West alley on Main Street together with such. additional
property as shall be necessary to permit the proposed remodeling of the
building now existing on Lots 9, 10, 11, and 12, Block 75, Kalispell,
Montana.
