A R2SOLUTION APPROVIN(I THE PURCHASE BY THE CITY OF KALIIPELL OP
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE 11AYOR TO EXECIUL I)OCITIL'ITS
THEREFORE.
JHEREAS, the Kalispell Park�nq Commission hd.,, advised thn Council
that it would be to the advantaqn of the City to purchd9ep fOr Oft
sLreet narking purp ses, certain property now being leased h�? said
Kdlisnell Parking Commission from the First Federal Saviit,7-- ind Loan
Associdtion; and
1,RIEREAS, the council is advised thdt the price for said property
is fair and that the terms of itG purchase are favorable,
NOVI THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City of Kalispell, that:
1. The Council does approve and consent to the purchase of
the followincr described real propertv in the City of Kalispell:
Lots 16 and 17 and the North 1/2 of Lot 15, Block 471
Kalispell Original Townsite, accordinq to the officidl
ma*o or plat thereof on file and of record in the office
of the Clerk and Recorder of Flathead Co.unty, 1ontdna-
2. The purchase price and terms of said purchase are as
followst
Price - $35,000.00
Down payment - $7,000.00 (from parking commission funds)
Balance - $28,900.00, with interest at 711% from July 1, 1973
payable at $5,000.00 Plus interest annualiv beginning
January 7, 1974 until paid but no later than July 7, 1978.
The Seller, First Federal Savings and Loan, is to furi-,i3:i
to the City acceptable title insurance and to pay all taxes dssessed
against said prenises for the lst. half of 1973.
3. The lavor is hereby authorized and directed to purchu,-4��
said property on behalf of the City and to execute any documeitt�i
that may be necessary to do so and to obliqdte the City for the
balance due on the purchase price therefor in accord with the above
terms.
