:4ONTANA AN INCREASE IN THE STATE'S SHARE OF THE GakmT POR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF THE CITYS WNSTEWATER TREAT4ENT PLANT TO 5% OF
THE REVISED BUDGET OF $1,180',000.001 AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO REQUEST FROM EPA AN INc,�EASE OF THE FEDERAL GRANT FOR SAID
PROJECT TO 75% OF SAID REVISED BUDGET.
WHEREAS, the City has revised the budget of the proposed
wastewater treatment plant project to $1,1 80,000.00; and
WHEREAS, prior requests of the State ot !Iontana and the
EPA for State and Federal participation in said project have
been based on lesser sums; and
WHEREAS, the City now desires to request State and Federal
participation in said pro:ject based on the increased budget.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF KALISPELL:
1. The Mayor is authorized to request from the State of
�iontana an increase in the State's participation in the con-
struction of said project to 5% of said revised budget;
2. The TIayor is also authorized to request from the EPA
an increase in Federal participation in said project to 75% of
said revised budget.
