A RESOLUTION TO INCORPORATE INTO THE CITY OF KALISPELL, AS
AN ADDITION, GIBSON ADDITION, NO. 41.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the Petition of Gibson Products
Companyof western Montana, Ltd., Edward L. Marks and Lois C.
Marks, filed with the City Council of the City of Kalispell,
on the 6th day of November, 1972, and the submission to said
Council by said Petitioners of a plat reflecting the survey
and designation of that territory adjoining and adjacent to
the City of Kalispell, into streets and blocks as an addition
thereto, and pursuant to Section No. 11-401, Revised Codes
of Montana, 1947, the Council and Mayor do hereby approve
that said territory may become a part of the City of Kalis-
pell, to be known as:
GIBSON ADDITION, NO. 41
SECTION 2. That the City Council has found good cause for the
reduction of land to be set aside in said Addition for park
purposes to one -twelfth (1/12) of the total area of said Addi-
tion; and, the Council further finds it to be the best interest
of the City to accept a cash donation in lieu of said land for
park purposes and the City does hereby order that said amount
shall be the sum of ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED TWENTY-THRFE 25/100
DOLLARS ($1,823.25), which sum shall be deposited in the park
fund of the City to be used according to law.
SECTION 3. That upon the proper filing of said plat in the of-
fice of the County Clerk and Recorder of Flathead County, Mon-
tana, said territory shall become a part of the City of Kalis-
pell and shall be classified as a No. 4 Main Business District
of said City.
