RESOLUTION NO, 2884
A RESOLUTION TO INCORPORATE INTO THE CITY OF KALISPELL, AS AN
ADDITION, STANLEY ADDITION NO. 42.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the Petition of Roy Stanley Chev-
rolet, a Montana corporation, filed with the City Council of the
City of Kalispell, on the 6th day of November 1972, and the sub-
mission to said Council by said Petitioner of a plat.reflecting
the survey and designation of that territory adjoining and ad-
jacent to the City of Kalispell, into streets and blocks as an
addition thereto, and pursuant to Section No. 11-401, Revised
Codes of Montana, 1947, the Council and Mayor do hereby approve
that said territory may become a part of the'City of Kalispell,
to be known as:
STANLEY ADDITION NO. 42
SECTION 2. That the City Council has found good cause for the
reduction of land to be set aside in said Addition for park pur-
poses to one ninth (1/9) of the total area of said Addition; and,
the Council further finds it to be to the best interest of the
City to accept a cash donation in lieu of said land for park
purposes and the City does hereby order that said amount shall
be the sum of TWO THOUSAND THIRTY-FIVE AND 66/100 DOLLARS,
(�2,035,66), which sum shall be deposited in the park fund of
the City to be used according to law.
SECTION 3. That upon the proper filing of said plat in the of-
fice of the County Clerk and Recorder of Flathead County, Mon-
tana, said tenitory shall become a part of the City of Kalis-
pell and shall be classified as a No. 4 Main Business District
of said City.
