RESOLUTION No, 2883
A RESOLUTION TO INCORPORATE INTO THE CITY OF KALISPELL, AS AN ADDITION,
WALTER ADDITION, ADDITION NO. 40
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to tie Petition of R. G. Walter and Irene G.
Walter, husband and wife, filed with the City Council of the City of
Kalispell, on the 6th day of November, 1972, and the submission to said
Council by said Petitioners of a plat reflecting the survey and designa-
tion of that territory adjoining and adjacent to the City of Kalispell,
into streets and blocks as an addition thereto, and pi�Tsuant to Section
No. 11-401, Revised Codes of Montana, 1947, the Council and Mayor do here-
by approve that said territory may become a part of the City of Kalispell,
to be known as:
WALTER ADDITION, ADDITION NO. 40
SECTION 2. That the City Council has found good cause for the reduction
of land to be set aside in said Addition for park purposes to one nijith ( /9)
of the total area of said Addition; and, the Council further finds it to
be to the best interest of the City to accept a cash donation in lieu of
said land for park purposes and the City does hereby order that said amount
shall be the sum of NINE HUNDRED FIF�Y-SIX AND 33/100 --------- DOLLARS,
($956.33 --d— ), which sum shall be deposited in Uw park Fund of the
City to be used according to law.
SECTION 3. That upon the proper filing of said plat�in the office of the
County Clerk and Recorder of Flathead County, Montana, said territory shall
become a part of the City of Kalispell, and shall be classified as No. 4
Main Business — of said city.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALIS-
PELL, MONTANA, THIS 13th Day of November, 1972.

PROPOSED SIDEWALK EASEMENT
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
The undersigned, R. G. WALTER and IRENE G. WALTER, husband
and wife, of Kalispell, Montana, for themselves, their heirs and
assigns, do hereby agree to give and grant unto the City of
Kalispell, Montana, a political subdivision, an easei�ent for
sidewalk purposes over and across:
The Westerly Ten Feet (10 feet) of Walter
Addition, Kalispell Addi�ion No. 40,
Kalispell, Flathead County, Montana;
if, at some future time, such space is needed by said City of
Ralispell to complete a sidewalk along the Easterly side of Meri-
than Road between U. S. Highway No. 2 and the railroad tracks to
the south thereof.
