RESOLUTION NO. 2893
A RESOLUTION DETERMINING MMHOD OF ELECTING CO'UNCIIMN FOR
FOUR YEAR TERM AND TWO YEAR TERM
MREAS it Is necessary to elect at the April 3, 1973 city election
one councilman in each ward for four (4) year torm; and
WHEREAS it is necessary to elect at the April 3, 1973 city election
one councilman in each ward for two (2) year term;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL
that the method for determining term for councilmen In the April 3. 1973
city election be as follows:
SECT104 1. The candidate for councilman in each ward
receiving the highest number of votes shall serve a
four (4) year term;
SECTION 2. The candidate for councilman in each ward
receiving the second highest number of votes shall serve
a two (2) year term.
SFCTTON 3. That terms of councilmen In succeeding city
elections shall be governed by the Revised Codes of ),bntana.
