A RESOLUTION LEVYING THE COST OF RaIOVAL OF GARBAGE On OTPER OTFTENSTVE
MATTFR FROM STREETS, ALLEY, OR ON ANY PRMISES AS A SPECIAL TAX AGAINST
PROPERTY FROM WHICH SUCH MATTER WAS DEPOSITED, AND THE DISPOSITION
THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED By THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
WHEREAS, Section 11-909 of the Revised Codes of Montana, 19�,Ajl, gives a
City Council power to provide for levying the cost of removal'of garbage
or other offensive matter from streets, alleys, or any promises as a
special tax against the property from which the same was doposited, the
City Council deems such a method more equitable and just than paying
for such removal from the General Fund of the City.
SECTION 1. The cost for removal of garbage or other offensive matter
for the year 1973 Is hereby estimated to be $92,000.00 and
the City Council finds that the cost of the removal of garbige or other
offensive matter from the various lots and parcels of land within the
City and benefited by such removal Is the sum set opposite the description
of each parcel or lot, as shown by the assessment records In the office
of the City Clerk.
