RESOLUTION NO. 2348
A RESOLUTION ESTIMATING THE COST OF PARKING MAINTENANCE AND
SPRINXLING THE STREETS AND AVENUES WITH OIL IN OIL SPRINKLING
DISTRICT AND LEVYING AN ASSESSMENT FOR SAME FOR THE YEAR 1972.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That the entire cost of Parking Maintenance and of Oil
Sprin%liag District for the year 1972 is estimated to be $101,460.00.
SECTION 2. That the assessment is hereby levied on all lots or
parcels of land within the city limits as follows:
501 x 1421 lots @ $2,00 per 1,000 square feet
or $14.20 per lot.
All other tracts, lots or parcels of land larger or smaller than
the al:�ove shall be assessed at the rate of $2.00 per 1,000 square
feet or portions thereof.
SECTION 3. All vacant and unimproved lotsl parcels of lots or
tracts within the Cityp but not abutting or actually fronting or
touching upon a city street or avenue# shall not be assessed.
SECTION 4. The lots or tracts of now additions to the City shall
not be assessed until said lot or tract shall be improved and/or
Occupied for living or dwelling purposes, or a period of one (1)
year shall have expired from the daie said addition was included
within the City, whichever shall first occuri thereafter said lot
or tract shall be assessed at the same rate as are all other lots
or parcels of land within the city limits.
SECTION S. The assessments are made pursuant to city records on
file in the qffLce of the City Clerk.
