J'SOLUT�ION AUTHORIZING FILING Or APPLICATIO, WITH THE
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY, UNITED STATES OF A-AE, RICA,
FOR A GRANT UNDER THE TIATER POLLUTION ACT, (33 U.S.C. 466 at seq.)
mqEREAs, under the terms of the water Poll1ition Control Act
(33 U.S.C.'466 at seq.), the United States of America has authorized
the making of grants to author4ed applicants to aid in t4e con-
struction of s,cwage treatment facility projects,.and
T=EREASO the Montana State Board of Health pursuant to Section
69-4308-1 R.C.M., 1947, and House Bill No. 476 of the Forty-second
(42nd) Session of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Montana
has been authorized to provide grants to authorized applicants to
aid in construction of sewage treatment facility projects,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, of the City
of Kalis-pell, Montana that the City of Kalispell
Montana is hereby
authorized to execute and file ap-,
,plications, on behalf of the City
of Kalispell, Montana with the United States Governmento and the State
of Montana, for grants to aid in the construction of sawage treatment
facility improvements for said �ity; the Mayor is hereby authorized
and directed to furnish such information as the Environmental
Protection Agency and the State�Department of Health may reasonably
request in connection with such.applications and to sign all
necessary documents as may be required to perfect such application.
