A RESOLUTION ALTERING THE BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL TO
INCLUDE THEREIN AND ANINTEX PROPERTY OF THE STATE OF MONTANA FISH '
AND GA:,!F, CO'LVITSSION AS ADDITION NO. 32, land ESTABLISH SAM AS
NO. 5 BUSINESS-RESIDENTCE ZONE.
T.,nIEREASP on the 3rd Day of January, 1972 the Council and
--yor of the City of Kalispell adopted Resolution No. '218-�, AS-_Z,9
,provicling that it was the intention of the City of Kalispell
to alter the boundary of said city to include within and annex
to said city certain land owned by the State of Montanat Fish
and Game Commission,and said Resolution was based on a Petition
of sa,' d State of Montana, Fish and Game Commission duly filed
with said city therefor; and
!,r171ERZAS, said Council did set a public hearing on said Res-
olutio.i of Intention to be held on the 7th day of February,,1972,,
and notice of said hearing was duly given and published as pro-
vided by law; and
�IHEREAS, said hearing was duly held at the time and place
1ded therefore and no protests were presented to said
as provi.
il in opposition of said annexation, and evidence was pre-

seated in favor of said annexation.
NOW THEREFORE, said Council does find,.resolve and order as
follows:
1. The Council finds that it is to the best interest of the
City of Kalispell and its inhabitants to annex to said City and

.1-ar its boundary to include therein, the following described
property owned by the State of Montana, Fish and Game Commission:
Beginning at a point So feet West of the East Quarter corner
of Section 12, Township 28 North, Range 22 West, M.P.M., a.nd
on the West boundary of a County Road known as Meridian Road;
tnence Westerly and along the Southerly boundary of the County
Road, known as TWo Mile Drive, a distance of 440 feet to a
poir�t; thence at right angles Southerly,,a distance of 237
feet to a pointj thence at right angles Easterly and parallel
to the South boundary of said County road last mentioned, a
distance of 436.08 feet t6 a point on the West boundary of a
County road; thence at,right angles Northerly and along the
West boundary of said County road a distance of 297.GS feet
to the point of beginning.
2. The Council resolves hereby that the boundary of said City
is altered to include within it said property, to be known as
Montana Fish and Game Addition No. 32
3. The Council further resolves that said addition shall and
does hereby become a No. 5 Business -Residence Zone as provided in
t.,e zoning ordinance of the City of Kalispell.
4. The City Clerk is hereby directed and ordered to certify
to a copy of this Resolution and file same,,alonq with a map of
said Addition showing the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell
as so altered and changed, with the County Clerk and Recorder of
Flathead County within 30 days of the passage and approval hereof.
5. This Resolution shall become effective 30 days from and
after the passage and approval hereof.
