A RESOLUTION LEVYING THE COST OF REMOVAL Or GARBAGE OR OTHER
OrFENSIVE MATTER FROM STREETS, ALLEYS, OR ON ANY PREMISES AS
A SPECIAL TAX AGAINST PROPERTY FROM WHICH SUCH MATTER WAS
DEPOSITF,D, AND THE DISPOSITION THEREOF,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MIONTZLNA:
wHEREAS' Section 11-909 of the Revised Codes of Montana, 1947,
gives a City Council power to provide for levying the cost of
removal of garbage or other offensive matter from streets, alleys,
or any premises as a special tax against the property from which
the same was deposited, the City Council deams such a method more
equitable and just than paying for such removal from the General
Fund of the City.
SECTION 1. The cost for removal of garbage or other offensive
matter the year 1972 is hereby estimated to be $92vOOO.00�
and the City Council finds that the cost of the removal of garbage
Or other offeasive matter from the various lots and parcels of
land within the City and benefited by such removal is the sun
set opposite the description of each parcel or lot, as shown by
the assessment records in the office of the City Clerk.
